ViewITpro was designed to automate support engineer’s jobs, consolidate tools, and speed time to resolution and repair. ViewITpro enables users to directly connect to affected devices from the Workflow screen. This kind of integration is typically only found in complex element management systems found only in telco environments. From an alarm, a support engineer can make one click to perform any of the following tasks: ·
Adjust the alarm threshold, severity, or trigger
characteristics. ·
Clear the alarm. ·
Schedule a notification blackout. ·
Issue an ICMP ping, traceroute, or dig to the affected device. ·
Connect to the affected device via ssh,
telnet, terminal services, or in VNC to perform immediate repair or remedial
actions. VNC Control of the affected server directly from the ViewITpro Monitoring portal in the browser!
