Multiple Views and Flexible Organization

Using ViewITpro’s powerful tree-architecture, administrators can create folders containing any logical grouping desired. Each folder can be specified as any one of the following seven folder types that creates a unique view of its contents:

Simple

Simple folders provide a simple object list such as subfolders.

Service Group

Service Group folders typically contain objects for mission-critical applications and also provide real-time SLA affecting events and score, Dependency Map, and AutoAnomaly root cause detection.

Rack

Rack Views show the devices as they may be physically installed in standard industry racks in the data center. This speeds physical location and repair time if required. Further, this feature enables the user to perform space management and inventory within live and up-to-date network management system instead of Visio drawings and spreadsheets.

Dependency Map

Dependency Maps show how components are dependent on one another.

Map

Map view typically provides a geographical map that contains real-time indicator icons of monitored data centers and objects.

Data Center Area

Data Center Area View allows the user to show the status of logical groupings of devices, such as "production" or "development," in consolidated status icons.

Data Center

Data Center View allows the user to show the status of physical groupings of devices, such as racks, in a consolidated status icon.
